	<li>As per the CBSE guidelines the CCE (Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation) will be followed from classes 1 to 8.</li>
	<li>Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation- Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation refers to a system of school based evaluation of students that covers all aspects of development. The scheme is thus a curricular initiative, attempting to shift emphasis from testing to holistic learning. It aims at creating good citizens possessing sound health, appropriate skills and desirable qualities, apart from academic excellence. It is hoped that this will equip the learners to meet the challenges of life with confidence and success. The student shall be tested for both scholastic and co-curricular excellence.</li>
	<li>The academic session is divided into two terms:
		<ul class="list-style-cus">
			<li><b>First term :</b> April to September</li>
			<li><b>Second term :</b> October to March</li>
		</ul>
	</li>
	<li>The students shall be tested on the basis of the following:
		<ul class="list-style-cus">
			<li><b>Formative Assessment :</b> 40% weight-age</li>
			<li><b>Summative Assessment :</b> 60% weight-age</li>
		</ul>

<h5><b>Formative Assessment</b></h5>
<div style="text-align: justify;">Formative Assessment is carried out by the teacher to monitor the student’s progress continuously in a non threatening, friendly and supportive environment. It involves regular descriptive feedback, chance for the students to reflect on their performance, take advice and improve upon it. This scholastic assessment is carried out during a course of instruction for providing continuous feedback to teachers and the learners. The assessment includes oral questions, conversational skills, projects, assignments, quizzes, research work, etc.</div>

<h5><b>Summative Assessment </b></h5>
<div style="text-align: justify;">Summative Assessment is carried out at the end of the term. It measures how much a student has learned from the course. It will e marked/ graded. The 100 marks question paper shall include MCQs, short answer questions and long answer questions.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">The students shall also be assessed in the co-scholastic areas. The Co-scholastic areas include:</div>

	<li>Life Skills (Critical thinking skills, Social skills and Emotional skills)</li>
	<li>Attitude (towards teachers, schoolmates, school programs and the environment</li>
	<li>Values</li>
	<li>Literary and Creative Skills</li>

	<li>Aesthetic skills</li>
	<li>Performing Arts</li>
	<li>Clubs (Eco club, Health and Wellness, etc.)</li>
	<li>Sports</li>
